Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensure production schedules are met, and guarantee that customer orders are assembled accurately and on time. You will lead production operators, monitor shop floor performance, drive lean initiatives, and uphold quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.

A Bachelor’s or Diploma in Engineering or Manufacturing, 3–5 years’ supervisory experience, and strong English and Malay

• Previous supervisory experience is mandatory.
• Experience with production planning, assembly operations and quality control.

• Maintain accurate production records and reporting documentation.

By joining us, you will contribute to building the first large scale battery factories in Asia, Europe and the United States

As Production Supervisor, you are responsible for the day-to-day execution of production activities. You ensure that production schedules are met, customer orders are assembled accurately and on time, and products meet all quality requirements. You lead the production operators, monitor shop floor performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Execute daily and weekly production plans established by the Production Manager.

Lead and supervise production operators and assembly personnel.

Coordinate manpower and resources to meet production targets.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of all customer orders.

Monitor production progress and adjust priorities where needed.

Monitor productivity, attendance, and workforce performance against targets.

Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping standards on the production floor.

Enforce adequate production process procedures

Implement improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Optimize assembly methods and workflow arrangements.

Escalate material shortages, equipment issues, quality concerns, and delivery risks.

Maintain accurate production records and reporting documentation.

Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Previous supervisory experience is mandatory.

Experience with production planning, assembly operations, and quality control.

Strong communication skills in English and Malay, Chinese is a plus.

Good organizational and coordination skills.

Hands-on attitude with strong attention to detail.
