Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking Production Specialists to support wafer fabrication and assembly test operations in Melaka, Malaysia. You will operate equipment to perform alignment, masking, etch and diffusion in wafer fabs, or handle AT functions such as testing, tapping, reeling, marking, and packing in assembly sites.

The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to follow work directions, with preferred candidates showing strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Wafer fabs:

In wafer fabs, Production Specialists operate various equipment in performing functions such as aligning, masking, etch and diffusion.

Assembly test sites:

Production Specialists perform specific AT semiconductor manufacturing functions in the production of semiconductor devices. They operate various equipment in performing functions such as test, tap and reel or mark and pack. This role is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of manual, automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to follow work directions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
• Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
