Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated is seeking a Production Specialist to support wafer fabrication or assembly test operations. You will operate equipment across processes such as alignment, masking, etch and diffusion in wafer fabs or perform test, tap/reel or mark/pack steps at assembly test sites.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and the ability to follow work directions. Preferred candidates will have strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to collaborate

Production Specialists process wafers of different technologies and support the manufacturing operations at either a wafer fab or assembly test site.

Wafer fabs

In wafer fabs, Production Specialists operate various equipment in performing functions such as aligning, masking, etch and diffusion.

Assembly test sites

Production Specialists perform specific AT semiconductor manufacturing functions in the production of semiconductor devices. They operate various equipment in performing functions such as test, tap and reel or mark and pack. This role is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of manual, automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to follow work directions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
• Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
