What role you will play in the team
- We are seeking an experienced engineer to provide global support for our Petrochemical businesses, with a focus on production planning optimization. The ideal candidate would have process knowledge/background in Olefins or Aromatics, enabling them to develop, sustain, and deploy work practices and technologies that ensure optimal model health for accurate crude and feedstock purchasing and run plan signals.

What you will do
- Develop, sustain, and deploy work practices and technologies that ensure optimum planning model health for accurate crude and feedstock purchasing and run plan signals.
- Leverage analytics to validate models, ensuring they reflect actual plant operations.
- You will lead conversations with site stakeholders from global manufacturing sites to ensure appropriate model updates are made to maximize economical operations.
- Partner with Manufacturing Site Engagement Leads to identify, investigate and analyze modeling opportunities that improve molecule management and profitability. Maintain and tune models to ensure they remain accurate, current, and fit‑for‑purpose for Economists.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – including Economists, Production Planning & Optimization, Derived Modeling, and Process Engineering – to identify needed steps to deliver profitability‑focused model enhancements.
About you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Process knowledge in either Aromatics or Olefins chemical plants; industry experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.
