We are seeking a talented Production Planning & Control Coordinator to join our team at K-TOOL Engineering in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring the efficient and timely production of our high-quality engineering products. As the Production Planning & Control Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the production schedule, optimizing workflows, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule daily and weekly production according to customer orders and priorities.

Coordinate with the manufacturing, sales, and purchasing departments to ensure job progress and timely completion.

Track job status, material availability, and delivery timelines.

Prepare and update production schedules, job travelers, and progress reports.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks or delays in production flow.

Communicate with suppliers or vendors for materials or outsourced processes when required.

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all production activities.

Support continuous improvement in workflow and production efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry.

Strong organizational and communicational skills.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple jobs at once.

Proficiency in production planning and control software, such as ERP/MRP systems.

Proficient in English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
