Job summary

A multinational electronics company located in Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee material availability and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of purchasing experience in the EMS industry and proficiency with Oracle and MRP systems. Strong communication skills in English are required, while Mandarin is preferred. This role is critical in ensuring on-time delivery and coordination across the supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic components purchasing.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and MRP systems.

  • Manage BOM full kit and ATP status, identify shortages.

Job description
1.0 Job Responsibilities
  • CTB review, responsible for BOM full kit and ATP status, shortages identification
  • Analyse, maintain and execute MRP, and verify customer forecast and demand change
  • Manage escalation on critical item, ensure material availability to support production per the MPS through MRP execution, on-time delivery, and coordination of materials movement through receiving to production
  • Clear challenge inventory, and E&O (End of life & Obsolete) disposition activities
  • Follow up closely with buyer team to ensure shipment on dock as per schedule
  • Involve in ECN/PCN together with engineering team
  • Partnership with buyer/commodity team to develop material strategy and buffer plan to best meet customer shipping requirement
  • Work with cross functional team to solve problems and drive supply chain solutions
2.0 Job Requirements
  • Bachelor degree majored in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or science and engineering.
  • 5+ years’ experience of electronic components purchasing in EMS industry.
  • Familiar with Oracle, ERP, MRP system
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin is preferred
  • Advance Microsoft Excel skill;
  • Familiar with Oracle
