Job summary

TF AMD Microelectronics (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Planning/Inventory professional to coordinate with customers and internal teams to meet requirements and KPIs, including on-time delivery and capacity planning.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, fluency in English and Malay, Mandarin preferred for China-based customers, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. This role supports production, materials planning, and order fulfilment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and proactively work with Customer's Planning team and internal teams to meet customer requirements and KPIs (OTD, cycle time, order fulfillment).
• Liaise with customers on forecast vs. actual loading and review forecast vs. capacity with IE.
• Collaborate to meet prioritization requirements, improve loading accuracy vs forecast, and optimize capacity per AOP.
• Monitor AO, PO, WIP, and FG daily; provide updates to customers as requested.
• Create SAP work orders for production scheduling and follow up to close them.
• Liaise with Materials Planning to ensure adequate support for materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Plan and work proactively with the Customer's Planning team and internal teams to meet customer requirements and internal KPIs, including OTD for line items and volume, cycle time, order fulfillment, and other supporting goals.

Liaise with customers on forecast vs. actual loading; review forecast vs. capacity with IE upon receiving weekly/monthly forecasts.

Collaborate with internal teams to consistently meet customer prioritization requirements, improve Loading Accuracy vs. Forecast, and optimize capacity per AOP.

Collaborate with internal teams to support ad-hoc, upside, and urgent requests.

Daily monitor AO, PO, WIP, and FG to ensure on-time delivery; provide regular updates to customers as requested, including daily plan vs. actual updates.

Coordinate with the Production team to provide justifications and recovery plans for any backlogs, and communicate effectively with customers.

Daily monitor WIP and expedite as needed to provide status and performance updates to customers.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Create SAP work orders for FGS to ensure correct part scheduling for production; monitor work order status and follow up to close them as per plan; work with Finance and Inventory teams to resolve fallout issues.

Liaise with Materials Planning to ensure sufficient support for both direct and indirect materials to meet daily/weekly loading requirements.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any field.

Proficient in speaking and writing English and Malay; Mandarin preferred (required to support China-based customers).

Preferably executives specializing in Planning/Inventory Management or equivalent.
