COMPANY OVERVIEW

Rx Sciences Sdn Bhd is a vertically integrated veterinary pharmaceutical and nutraceutical company manufacturing both non-sterile oral formulations and sterile injectable products in our 260 sqm GMP facility in Balakong, Selangor. We export to 23 warehouses globally across ASEAN, EU, and US markets. We operate lean, move fast, and scale globally.

THE ROLE

Reports to: Shipping & Logistics Manager

Compensation: RM 40,000–48,000/year

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (on-site)

Start Date: Immediate

You are responsible for the day-to-day execution of our global shipping and warehouse operations. While the Shipping & Logistics Manager handles strategy, carrier negotiations, and complex compliance issues, you run the operational engine—packing orders, processing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring our 23 global warehouses stay in sync.

This is a hands‑on operational role. You'll spend 60% of your time physically packing and shipping products, 30% managing warehouse records and inventory systems, and 10% coordinating with 3PL warehouses and freight forwarders.

You are the person who makes sure products leave our facility correctly, arrive on time, and are properly tracked from our warehouse to 23 destinations worldwide.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Minimum: SPM (Secondary School) or equivalent
• Preferred: Diploma in:
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • Business Administration
  • International Trade
  • Or related field

Experience

• Minimum: 2‑3 years in warehouse, shipping, or logistics operations
• Preferred:
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, food, or medical device logistics (GMP/GDP compliance)
  • Experience with international export shipping (commercial documentation, HS codes, customs clearance)
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or similar)
  • Experience coordinating with 3PL warehouses or freight forwarders

Technical Skills

Required:

• Warehouse management systems (WMS): Comfortable using inventory software daily
• Microsoft Excel: Intermediate level (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas for inventory reconciliation)
• Shipping software: Experience with courier/forwarder platforms (DHL, FedEx, UPS portals)
• HS code knowledge: Understand how to classify products using Harmonized System (training provided, but basic familiarity preferred)

Preferred:

• Customs compliance knowledge: Understand export regulations, commercial documentation, declared value rules
• GDP/GMP awareness: Familiar with pharmaceutical distribution standards
• Microsoft Power BI or Tableau: Can build simple dashboards for inventory/shipping metrics

Physical Requirements

• Can lift and carry up to 20kg regularly (boxes of pharmaceutical products)
• Can stand/walk for 4‑6 hours per day (warehouse work)
• Can work in climate‑controlled warehouse (18‑25°C, sometimes cooler)

Language Skills

• English: Fluent (written and spoken) - all documentation, emails with forwarders, 3PL communication in English
• Bahasa Malaysia: Fluent (for domestic courier coordination, local supplier communication)

Mandarin, Tamil, or other languages: Helpful but not required
