Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Malacca is seeking a Production Planner to oversee the production planning schedule, manage stock inventory, and ensure quality compliance. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management and experience in the manufacturing sector. Responsibilities include coordinating with Sales for production planning and monitoring outputs and materials availability. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Planner or Material Planner in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the workout of overall production planning schedule.
• Responsible for stock inventory management of raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor availability of raw materials at Store.
• Provide project timeline to Purchasing Department for production plans.
• Coordinate with Sales Department for production planning to meet delivery dates.
• Monitor daily outputs and coordinate packing activities.
• Ensure product quality meets customer requirements.
• Monitor production capabilities and capacities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the workout of overall production planning schedule.
• Responsible for the stock inventory management of raw materials, packing materials, semi-products and finished products in Production Line.
• Responsible for the monitoring of availability of raw materials and packing materials at Store.
• To provide a project timeline to Purchasing Department for the upcoming production plans in order to ensure sufficient availability of raw materials and packing materials for production.
• To coordinate with Sales Department for overall production planning in order to meet the delivery / shipment date and other customer requirements (if any).
• Responsible for daily outputs monitoring and to plan & coordinate the packing activities based on the data provided.
• To monitor and ensure the process and product quality meets the customer requirements and in compliance with company policies and standard requirements.
• Responsible for the monitoring of production capabilities and capacities.
