Role Description

The Production Material Control Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Simpang Ampat, responsible for overseeing the flow of materials throughout the production process. This role manages material planning, ordering, and inventory control to ensure production schedules are met and downtime is minimized. Daily activities include coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and production teams, monitoring stock levels, reconciling discrepancies, and updating material status in internal systems. The position also involves tracking supplier deliveries, resolving material-related issues, preparing reports on inventory and usage, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material handling processes. The executive collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in production planning, material control, and inventory management, with the ability to align materials availability with production schedules.
• Proficiency in ERP or MRP systems, spreadsheets, and other data management tools used for tracking materials, orders, and stock levels.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions in material processes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with procurement, warehouse, engineering, and production teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage documentation, maintain accurate records, and comply with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial operations; experience in electronics or technology-related production environments is an advantage.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Simpang Ampat, adapt to changing priorities, and support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
