A leading electronics manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the team and ensure operational efficiency. The role involves managing supervisors, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining quality and production schedules. Candidates should have experience in production management and a strong understanding of lean practices. Responsibilities

• Manage a team of supervisors and relevant team members.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and support Lean Activities.
• Achieve zero DPPM for OBA.
• Lead special projects assigned to direct report.
• Support team participation in NPI and quotation activities.
• Define and implement training plans for operators.
• Identify and coach successors for talent development.
• Plan resources to meet schedules and goals.
• Ensure productivity meets quality and quantity requirements.
• Maintain low operational costs.
• Ensure timely delivery to market.
• Meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
• Achieve product yield and equipment uptime.
• Adhere to product timelines set by the Production Planner.
• Comply with EHS, ISO, IATF 16949 and 5S requirements.
• Monitor rework/scrap costs.

• Manage a team of Senior Supervisor, Supervisor, as well as the relevant team members to work related issues, development program and welfare matters.
• Drive for Continuous Improvement and support on Lean Activities.
• Drive for zero DPPM for OBA.
• Drive for special project assigned to direct report.
• Drive team to participate in NPI and support on quotation activates.
• Define and implement training plan for manufacturing department operators and relevant colleagues.
• Identify and coach succors for long term talent development.
• Ensure resources are well planned to meet schedules and goals.
• Ensure productivities (Quality and Quantity) are being met accordingly to requirement.
• Ensure low operation cost.
• Ensure time to market delivery
• Meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
• Meet product yield and Equipment uptime.
• Meet all Products timelines as required by Production Planner.
• Meet EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety), ISO, IATF 16949 and 5S requirements
• Meet rework/scrap costs.
