Job summary

VHR Consultancy seeks a Production Manager for a leading HVAC-related manufacturing company in Malaysia. The role oversees planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery and quality in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate will drive productivity, manage resources, and implement SOPs to enhance efficiency and continuous improvement in production operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent is required.
• Strong MS Excel skills and basic computer proficiency are required.
• At least 5 years of hands-on production managerial experience.
• Knowledge of Plastic Injection processes is a big plus.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production activities to meet targets.
• Ensure on-time and accurate production and deliveries.
• Develop and implement efficient production practices.
• Maintain high quality control standards across output.
• Manage labor and materials to achieve targets.

A leading Manufacturer for Heat Ventilation & Air-Conditioning related products.

Job Responsibilities:-

• Managing production planning and scheduling
• Ensure on-time and accurate production and deliveries
• Implement work practices for sustainable production efficiency
• Ensuring high level of quality control
• Manage labour and material resources to meet production targets
• Maintain accurate records on inventory of raw materials and finished goods
• Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
• Ensure continuous human resource development of direct reports
• Determine and improvement to the production process
• Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments
• Prepare and maintain production records and reports for management

Requirements:-

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Computer proficiency, strong MS Excel skills and other common Microsoft applications
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 5 year(s) of hands on production managerial experience with strong production culture and skills in managing operators and production teams.
• Knowledge and experience in Plastic Injection Process will be a big plus.
• MUST be comfortable working in a fast pace working environment
