Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the production floor day to day operation production schedule, job allocation, work force and cost control.
• Ensures finished output meet the quality standard within the allocated timeline and budget.
• Ensures daily production output meets the set target and able to prepare production reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Required to understand production schedule and meet inspection dates as stated in production schedule.
• Required to make sure store have release all required materials across production as per SOP.
• Ensure all downtime is recorded and passed across.
• Space management across production floor, ensuring it is not jammed due to finished goods and WIP’s, and highlighting issues to related departments for action.
• Ensure the NCR is filled properly for production issues to QC dept.
• Troubleshoot to solve production delays, downtime and related production issues.
• To improve production operations for greater efficiency through review of process flow, production schedule and engineering specifications.
• Ensure machine is maximized with full capacity.
• Ensure downtime is raised if there is any maintenance issue.
• Ensure operators are working with machines according to the manual that has been published.
• Assist in monitoring and measuring material wastage and work closely with production team to ensure minimal material wastage.
• Properly document reject products that need disposal.
• Work closely with QC to achieve quality as per business standard.
• Reports on quality for all production processes from QC.
• Act as the liaison person between the Production team and the Management.
• Ensure proper training is provided to the employee from the date employed by the department Supervisor/Leader/Assistant Leader accordingly.
• Follow up with newly hired employees at the production floor to address any work-related issues or concerns with their immediate supervisor.
