About the role

Kairos Global Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a talented and experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimise its production operations in Kluang, Johor. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective production processes, maintaining high quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the production floor, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production targets.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimise resource utilisation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of production activities.
• Analyse production data, identify trends, and develop strategies to address bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Manage and develop a team of production supervisors and operators, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal policies.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in metal fabrication or conveyor system production.
• Strong technical understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control systems.
• Proficient in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with ERP or similar systems is an advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
