About the role As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality medical devices. This is a full-time position based in Kamunting, Perak.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the daily production activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring of the manufacturing process
- Ensure adherence to production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Optimise production processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with the engineering, quality, and procurement teams to resolve any production-related issues
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing capabilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management
What we\'re looking for
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar production management role within the manufacturing or medical device industry
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of production planning, scheduling, and process improvement methodologies
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with quality management systems and experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles
- Proficient in using production planning and control software, as well as data analysis tools
- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
- Willing to work at Kamunting, Perak.
