Job summary

A leading manufacturing company located in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee the production of aluminum cans. Responsibilities include supervising the manufacturing process, ensuring quality standards are met, and managing production staff. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably in metal packaging. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Location

Crown Beverage Cans – Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor

Overview

Supervise manufacturing process of 2 piece aluminum can. Monitor and adjust production processes to maintain optimal efficiency, reduce spoilage and minimize downtime.

Quality Assurance

Ensure cans meet dimensional, coating, and print quality standards. Work with QA department to implement and maintain quality control programs according to internal/external standard.

Maintenance Coordination

Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and preventive maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions promptly.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce health, safety, and environmental policy and adhere to internal/external regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and training for staff.

Leadership & Staff Management

Manage and motivate production staff, including supervisors and mechanics. Conduct performance reviews and identify training/improvement needs. Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement efficient manufacturing practices. Drive cost reduction and spoilage control initiatives.

Qualifications / Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry, knowledge in metal packaging or high-speed manufacturing environment will be added advantage.
  3. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
