Job summary

A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a production coordinator to oversee daily production activities and ensure quality and cost targets are met. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, and 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include monitoring production schedules, performance, and compliance with safety standards. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities according to production schedules
• Ensure production output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Monitor machine performance, manpower allocation, and material usage
• Prepare production reports and update records accurately
• Verify Quantity and Quality of consumable Material and Chemical used for Compounding and Production
• To coordinate and communicate effectively in daily operation within inter-department or section
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and ISO/QMS requirements
• Identify production issues and assist in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of production planning, process control, and basic quality systems
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)

Added Advantage

• Experience in ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 13485 / Social Compliance / 5S / Lean Manufacturing
• Experience supervising production operators
