A food manufacturing company in Puchong is seeking a Production Manager to oversee and manage production activities. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Food Science, 2–3 years of experience, and knowledge of food safety management systems. Job description

Oversee and manage all production activities within the manufacturing facility, including production planning, line operations, inventory, and equipment maintenance.

Plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules to ensure efficient output that meets food safety, quality, and production targets.

Lead, train, and supervise production staff to ensure smooth operations, good discipline, and continuous improvement.

Prepare raw materials, packaging, and labels required for production.

Monitor attendance and allocate daily work assignments to production workers.

Ensure all production records and forms are completed accurately and on time.

Prepare daily and monthly production and efficiency reports, including PowerPoint presentations for HOD meetings.

Generate and print product labels (barcodes, expiry dates, batch numbers, etc.) according to regulations and customer requirements.

Develop and update SOPs and checklists in line with company standards.

Implement and maintain company food safety and quality programs (Halal, HACCP, BRC, etc.) and GMP practices.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Organize periodic major cleaning for production lines.

Support R&D trial runs and ensure proper documentation of results.

Update and maintain data in the ERP system.

Conduct traceability checks from raw materials to finished goods with QA/QC teams.

Supervise warehouse activities related to raw materials and finished goods.

Support QA/QC audits and other management requests as needed.

Job Requirements

Possess Diploma/ Degree in Food Science or equivalent.

2–3 years of working experience in production or manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred).

Knowledge of FSSC 22000 or any food safety management system.

Computer literate and able to use Microsoft office such as outlook and excel.

Able to communicate in English and Malay language.
