Job description

• 1. Provide day-to-day operational support and oversee the Production area;
• 2. Oversee effective production planning across all outlets and the central kitchen to ensure optimal sales while minimising wastage;
• 3. Ensure adherence to the Company’s standards with regards to product quality, presentation, consistency, availability and reduction of wastage;
• 4. Design and champion the implementation of initiatives that will continuously help to improve production processes, increase efficiency and product standards in line with best practices;
• 5. Define and implement cost management initiatives aimed at identifying and mitigating wastage and preventing erosion of profits;
• 6. Define and oversee the implementation of policies for achieving high standards of hygiene and sanitation across all areas in Production;
• 7. Continuously reviewing and recommending more efficient ways of carrying out operational activities in Production;
• 8. Coordinate the design and roll-out of “ready goods”, encompassing the planning, construction and running of the facility.
• 9. Other duties that may be assigned in the future as necessary.
• 10. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Production personnel;
• 11. Plan and delegate duties and work schedules with Production staff, in collaboration with other company departments;
• 12. Assume responsibility for hold-point releases once all Production functions have been completed;
