Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kulai is seeking a Production Documentation & Data Entry Specialist. You will be responsible for maintaining production orders, recording daily production data, and liaising between various departments. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Business Administration and experience in a clerical role within manufacturing. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and living near Senai, Johor is an advantage.

Job description
1. Production Documentation & Data Entry

Prepare, issue, and maintain production orders and job cards.

Record daily production data such as output, downtime, rework, and material usage.

Update production reports, logs, and databases accurately and on time.

File and maintain records of production activities, material movement, and finished goods.

2. Coordination & Communication

Liaise between production, warehouse, purchasing, and quality control departments.

Communicate schedule changes, delays, or issues to relevant departments.

Support supervisors in coordinating daily work assignments.

3. Inventory & Material Control

Monitor material availability and coordinate with store or purchasing teams to prevent shortages.

Track usage of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.

Assist in conducting stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.

4. Scheduling & Reporting

Assist in preparing production schedules and shift rosters.

Compile daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

Provide administrative support during audits or management reviews.

5. Administrative Support

Prepare labels, forms, and other production documents.

Assist with timekeeping, attendance records, and overtime tracking for production staff.

Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems (both digital and hard copy).

Job Requirements:

Minimum: Diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Business Administration or related field preferred).

1–3 years of clerical or administrative experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Willing to start immediately.

Living near Senai, Johor is an advantage.
