Job description

  • Responsible for the overall technical, quality and safety aspects of the blending/production operations.

  • Provide technical application services to customers, with occasional visits to their locations.

  • Responsible for the research and development, quality control/quality assurance functions in the production and laboratory.

  • Oversee and ensure development of new and customized products and formulations while upholding confidentiality and secrecy integrity on information gathered and developed.

  • Good housekeeping with maintenance of clean and safe production and laboratory workplace at all times.

  • Overseeing production operations with process control, while ensuring quality conformance of in-coming raw materials and out-going finished products.

  • Responsible for the development and formulation of new products, with formal report presentation as well as proper records of documentation such as, but not limited to, Product Data Sheet (PDS), Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each product developed.

  • Monitoring and upkeep of plant and laboratory equipment.

  • Carry out audit supervision, and if required implement necessary corrective actions.

  • Attend to the quality and application matters of customers.

  • Evaluation of competitors’ products.

  • Training of production and laboratory staff.

  • To ensure the management of schedule waste at the whole premise is in accordance to the guidelines of Department of Environmental Act.

  • To act as the Quality Service Assurance in the aspect of CCAR and SCAR by ensuring the corrective action proposed by respective department is able to prevent future occurrence.

  • Related technical duties other than those stipulated above will be assigned as and when required from time to time.


Job Requirements


  • Degree in Science / Chemistry / Biotechnology / or any related field.

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in production / laboratory and/or R&D environment.

  • Strict compliance chemicals standards and guidelines.

  • Organized in documentation.

  • Able to supervise and train production workers.

  • Good knowledge in the act of quality, safety, environmental and health.

  • Good teamplayer and able to work independently.
