Job summary

ICHOR Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Planning Administrator to support Production Planning with data upkeep, TO work orders, and ERP/MRP transactions. The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional coordination.

You will assist scheduling, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining accurate planning data across departments. This is a hands-on admin role in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, or administrative support preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Oracle experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Print, assemble, and distribute production work orders; ensure packages are complete before release.
• Create, maintain, and manage administrative planner codes; manage TO work orders.
• Process planning transactions in ERP/MRP and maintain data integrity.
• Support planners with system updates and administrative maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate revision status updates and follow up on open revisions.
• Prepare weekly reports and maintain department metrics.
• Provide cross-functional administrative support and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

• Print, assemble, and distribute production work orders.

Ensure work order packages are complete and accurate before release to production.

Planning Administration

• Create, maintain, and manage administrative planner codes.
• Create, release, and maintain TO (Transfer Order) work orders as required.
• Process planning transactions and updates within ERP/MRP systems as required.
• Ensure planning data integrity and accuracy.
• Support planners with system updates and administrative maintenance tasks.

Revision Change Management

• Manage and coordinate changes via tasks.
• Communicate Planning Dept. revision status updates to appropriate departments.
• Follow up on open revision activities to ensure timely implementation.

Reporting and Metrics

• Prepare and submit the weekly Complete/No Charge Report.
• Maintain department reports and performance metrics as required.
• Update and maintain departmental tracking tools, including the planning matrix.

Administrative Support

• Provide administrative support to the Production Planning team.
• Assist with scheduling, communication, and coordination activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the planning department.
• Cross-train with other planning support functions as assigned.

For candidates based in Minnesota: The pay range is $19.33 - $32.84 per hour for this hourly non-exempt position.
