Job summary

A Swedish medical device company is seeking a Product Specialist / Senior Sales Representative in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will promote premium medical products, manage sales opportunities, and build relationships with customers. Product Specialist / Senior Sales Representative (Medical Devices)

Responsibilities:

  • Execute marketing and sales activities in alignment with assigned budgets.
  • Manage and drive sales opportunities with existing customers while developing new business and expanding the customer base in the premium product segments, including Wound Management, Infection Prevention, and other niche medical devices.
  • Actively promote products and achieve annual sales targets by developing strong customer relationships.
  • Provide excellent customer service to build trust and loyalty.
  • Support local exhibitions, workshops, and conferences.
  • Develop and maintain a close business network within your territory, focusing on building rapport with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Conduct Continuous Medical Education (CME) sessions and support clinical workshops.
  • Consistently meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Sales Objectives in line with organizational goals.

Qualifications:
  • Related education qualification in sciences preferably in Biomedical/Biotechnology. Those with working experience in medical field are also encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales/marketing within the medical device industry.
  • Knowledge of wound care products and operation theatre devices/consumables is an added advantage.
  • Must be willing to travel outstation.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages are a plus).
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, own transport.
