A leading firm in food safety is seeking a Product Specialist to engage with customers and promote testing solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in a relevant field, have at least 2 years of related sales experience, and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include managing sales inquiries, preparing quotations, and developing new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently. Applicants need to be based in Kuala Lumpur.
Liaise with customer on sales and technical enquiries
Strong ability to engage with key account customers, opinion leaders, source out new accounts and other business opportunities
To regularly visit, maintain good relationship with existing customer within your sales territory assigned
Able to generate new revenue through prospecting, generate new leads and effective sales territory management
To prepare quotations, provide technical presentations, professionally demonstrate your assigned product portfolio to potential customers
To organise and participate in seminars, workshops, conferences and exhibitions
To provide basic product user guidance of newly delivered products.

A higher secondary with Science background / Degree in Food Technology / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Bioscience / Life Science or Business majors with science background or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years in related industrial field sales experience with proven track record of sales.
Strong knowledge and experience on promoting Rapid Microbes Plates, Rapid Environmental & Food Pathogens Test Kit, Allergen Lateral Flow System, PCR, Allergen Elisa test, Rapid Microbial Screening Systems, Mycotoxin or related rapid test kit for environmental and foods industrial processing hygiene control solution and microbes lab test solutions.
Business lingual, positive working attitude, ambition, self discipline, proactive, objective focus, sales target oriented, organise and patience.
Strong entrepreneurial mind-set, and MUST possess a can-do attitude & win mentality
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, able to work under own initiative.
Strong communication skills with strong command of English. Able to communicate in others dialects are added advantages.
Outspoken and sociable personality.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Possess own transport.
* Indoor Sales Support position are available based on HQ - Kuala Lumpur, open only to candidates that without transportation, equip with strong sales background with customer orientated and proactive and organised skills.
