Product Specialist (Services Account Executive)

The Services Account Executive acts as the focal point and leader to coordinate all infrastructure and managed services, as well as engagement activities, with customers and partners based on the allocated territory and accounts. The selected candidate will work with Dell Account teams (account managers, presales, and specialty sales) and CSG (Client Solutions Group) and ISG (Data Center/Infrastructure Solutions Group) business units to grow Dell Technologies services and overall Dell Technologies business.

What you’ll achieve

As an Outside Sales Product Specialist, you will proactively identify and solve customer business needs by providing subject‑matter expertise and creating solutions using Dell’s products and services.

You will:

  • Define and execute on Services Strategy, excelling as an Individual Contributor to drive the sales business; engage with all internal and external stakeholders and manage complex customer situations.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline, engagement cadence, and sales hygiene of the highest level; closely engage with the various Business Units and exceed business targets regularly with business linearity.
  • Seek resources, solutions, and partnerships to grow the business; leverage industry and partner relationships for growth; regularly speak at public conferences and events.
  • Lead weekly reviews in the country and at the regional level, representing services in all local country leadership meetings.
  • Travel as required (estimated); this is a Quota Carrying Sales Position (Individual Contributor).

Essential Requirements
  • 8‑10 years of experience in a relationship selling role with good knowledge of technical products, vendors, and technology families; strong knowledge of product configurations; strong oral and written communication skills with customers, support personnel, and executives.
  • Experience with modern workforce solutions based on Microsoft and other OEM partners; exposure to Cyber Security and Business Resilience solutions; prior technical experience in delivery or presales is an added advantage.
  • Skilled at working in virtual teams and influencing others to implement specific strategies; self‑driven, motivated, and committed to quality.
  • Strong communication, selling, customer relations, negotiating skills, and excellent time management and personal organization.
  • Complete understanding of services delivery life cycle, sales, and financial skills highly desired; experience in pursuit, close, and successful execution of large, complex wins is a competitive advantage.
Desirable Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business plus a minimum of 10 years of project management or pre‑sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience is critical with strong services business‑management background.
  • Strong experience and expertise in selling infrastructure solutions and services centered on Microsoft, VMware, RedHat, Nutanix, Multi‑Cloud solutions (Private/Hybrid/Multi‑Cloud), Data Center consolidation, Gen AI and AI Infrastructure, Disaster Recovery, and Data Management.
