A technology solutions company in Malaysia is seeking a skilled professional for a Technical Sales role. The position involves promoting HVAC solutions, performing technical evaluations, and coordinating project implementations. Candidates should possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2-5 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and knowledge of energy efficiency standards are essential. This dynamic role supports client interaction and travel as required.
Promote and sell company products and solutions including (but not limited to):
Motors, EC fans, cooling tower upgrades, AHU systems, retrofit solutions, and energy-efficient technologies
Identify customer needs and propose value-based engineering solutions rather than specification-driven selling
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and cost justifications
Support tender submissions with technical documentation and compliance statements
Perform product selection, sizing, and application calculations based on site conditions and client requirements
Ensure proposed solutions comply with local regulations, industry standards, and energy efficiency requirements
Conduct site surveys, measurements, and technical assessments
Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, consultants and end-users
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure correct application and installation
Support project execution teams during installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Attend project meetings and site inspections when required
Prepare and maintain:
Provide post-sales technical support and application advice
Assist in resolving technical issues or performance concerns
Support continuous improvement by collecting field feedback and recommending product enhancements
