Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the portfolio of vulcanized gates, spare gates, and kit plates for IDM/OEMs. Support project managers during the stage-gate process, provide documentation and business case background for customer projects, and improve costs and processes.
  2. Lead the development and implementation of a global strategy for managing elastomer obsolescence across the organization.
  3. Supervise changes related to supply chain, manufacturing, and assembly processes; prepare documentation for customer-relevant changes.
  4. Support BU GSE and Sales Teams with technical, commercial, and operational aspects of gates, including product data sheets and presentations.
  5. Forecast sales objectives and ensure they are met by business development PMs.
  6. Manage profitability targets for the gates.
  7. Assist team members (OEM PMs, supply chain, project management) throughout logistics and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction, with operations taking over after project acceptance.
  8. Create technical customer documentation such as manuals and data sheets according to European machinery directives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, preferably chemical engineering.
  • Background or experience in material sciences, especially elastomers and polymers.
  • Knowledge and experience in vacuum technology.
  • Proficiency in German, Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean, in addition to English (preferred).
  • Experience in developing new product and service solutions in a high-tech environment.
  • Ability to develop concepts and solutions for service delivery, engaging engineering and operations teams.
  • Experience in promoting and rolling out new products.
