We are seeking a Product Executive to support the development, launch and lifecycle management of our product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to take product initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring products meet customer needs, align with portfolio positioning, and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Brainstorm new product ideas and applications.
- Work with R&D and operation team on prototypes, trials, technical feasibility, etc.
- Conduct basic feasibility studies on new product ideas, assess cost and market viability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional team on packaging format and design development and approvals.
- Track timelines for new product launches and reformulations.
- Update project status reports and communicate progress to internal stakeholders.
- Gather market trends, consumer insights and competitor information to identify new opportunities.
- Support product benchmarking and sensory evaluation activities.
- Assist in preparing product presentations, sales tools and marketing materials.
- Support pricing, costing and profitability analysis for new products.
- Plan launch campaigns and activities.
- Liaise with cross‑functional team for execution.
- Post launch evaluation analysis.
- Consolidate feedback from consumer trials and observations.-
- Contribute ideas to improve product performance, packaging, marketing campaigns, etc.
Key Accountabilities
- Launch new products as per project brief and according to the timeline set.
- Achieve sales volume, revenue & margin targets set for product category assigned.
- Support sales team to facilitate new customer acquisitions.
- Co‑create customer‑centric applications that help to recruit new customer and to sell new products.
- Custodians of product positioning, key messaging and value propositions of the product range assigned.
- Provide useful and accurate insight and feedback on new products and continue improving on gap if there is any.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year experience in FMCG (food‑related company).
- Degree or above in Food Science/Technology, Nutrition, Business/Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong collaboration skills with R&D, Operations, Marketing, and Sales.
- Ability to analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities.
- Good project coordination, time management, and stakeholder communication.
- Basic proficiency in pricing, costing and profitability analysis.
- Language: Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proactive, adaptable, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven; thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Note: Fresh graduates may be considered for our Associates Program (Commercial) if you have a Food Science or Marketing/Business background.
