Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or any related field.
• 10+ years working experience in software development.
• Extensive knowledge of Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Experience in developing and deploying applications in Cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Proficiency in database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing software development teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
• Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Responsibilities

Primary Functions:

The Engineering Manager will guide and lead a team of talented software developers in delivering high-quality software solutions. The squad will focus on full-stack development using Java Spring Boot (microservices), Swift and Kotlin or Flutter (mobile / web) in the Cloud environment. The Engineering Manager primary role is to drive the development of cutting-edge flagship applications of the Bank in the Cloud.
