Job summary

Experian is seeking a Product Engineer to contribute to reliable, scalable applications and integrated solutions from concept to implementation. You will design, develop, test, and deploy software while aligning with architecture and coding standards.

You will collaborate in client meetings, gather requirements, and support system integration using RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS/JavaScript front-ends and PHP/MySQL back-ends. A hybrid work model and cloud experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must have a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in software development, system design and application support.
• Proficiency in modern front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery and Angular.
• Proficiency in back-end development using PHP and MySQL. Knowledge or experience in C# and .NET technologies.
• Hands‑on experience designing/ developing, documenting, testing and supporting RESTful APIs using XML/JSON.
• Experience designing, implementing and securing solutions using cloud services such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with CodeIgniter, and MVC architecture
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, Software Development Life Cycle and software design concepts.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, e.g. Jenkins, Github.

Responsibilities

• You will participate in the research, design, development, integration, testing and deployment of software application.
• You will need to design, develop and support RESTful APIs and system integration.
• You will conduct technical analysis and design of application module & database.
• You will need to ensure developed modules comply with established architecture standards, coding standards and quality requirement.
• You will participate in client meetings, requirement gathering sessions, solution reviews and technical workshops to support project delivery and system integration.
• You will be reporting to the Head of software development.
