Product Development Executive (Automotive Finance)

Position: Product Development Executive (Automotive Finance)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm

Working Duration: 12 months (renewal subject to work performance and approval from Mgt)

Working Location: Wisma Mercedes-Benz; Level 3, 16A Jalan BK 1/13 Taman Perindustrian Bandar Kinrara, 47180 Puchong, Selangor

Salary: RM4,000 per month (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical insurance

Job Description

Here\'s the role at a glance that might be beneficial for you to know:

Task

1. Assist to implement new product/campaign including assessing the feasibility and profitability (RORAC target), detailed discussion on system issues related to the product, preparation of campaign papers/agreements and coordination of system testing for campaigns, programs and new products
2. Preparation of regular (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly) report and presentations of dealers’ performance, F&Is’ performance, effectiveness of campaigns of joint programs and standalone products. This includes coordination with brand partner, insurance team, controlling team and the credit team.
3. Support in sales forecasting, F&I target, dealer target & dealer incentive and monitor the performance / progress (brand, territory or dealer related).
4. Create awareness by collectively reviewing the existing product rules and guidelines. Build and maintain strong relationships with Agents to identify sales opportunities and leads conversion to sales.
5. Assist to coordinate with brand partners to develop an effective joint campaign including the RoRAC calculation.
6. Work with superior on developing, reviewing and updating the existing or new finance and leasing products as to strengthen the competitive advantage over competitors together with product bundling.
7. Ensure the development of product value propositions, training materials and coordination of system testing of campaigns, programs and new products.
8. Share/Evaluate knowledge of market trends and feedback to relevant stakeholders to influence and develop products in line with business plans.

Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field.

Work experience: At least 2 years of experience in automotive financial product, ideally in hire purchase or operating lease within the finance or banking field.

• PC Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint on advanced level).
• Proven ability to work independently in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and remain reliable under pressure.
• Demonstrate high integrity, strong motivation, effective interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated with a Tenacious Attitude.
• Good understanding of Automotive Financial Products (Hire Purchase and Operating Lease).
