Job summary

A health supplement company in Malaysia, Selangor, is seeking a qualified individual to develop new product formulations and conduct market studies. Responsibilities include coordinating with manufacturers, conducting lab tests and sensory evaluations, and staying updated with industry trends. Candidates should hold a degree in Food Science or similar, with at least 1 year of experience in the health supplement industry preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Nutrition, Dietary, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in the health supplement industry is an advantage; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Matured, well organized, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop new product formulation, conduct market study, source worldwide ingredients, and perform costing calculations.
• Arrange lab testing and analysis for trial run samples.
• Conduct sensory and quality evaluations on raw materials and finished products.
• Coordinate with overseas manufacturers or liaise with potential contract manufacturers to explore new business opportunities.
• Regularly conduct market studies to stay abreast of industry trends.
• Assist in resolving formulation-related issues with the R&D team.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior and management.
