Job summary

RUNATI ATHLETIX SDN BHD is seeking a Product Designer focusing on Sportswear and Footwear to design jerseys, team apparel, and athletic footwear. You will develop colorways, logos, and layouts aligned with brand direction and market needs.

Responsibilities include concept development, fabric selection, and creating mock-ups with technical drawings. Collaboration with production and sales teams is essential to ensure manufacturability and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in sportswear, apparel, or footwear design.
• Proficient in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar).
• Strong understanding of jersey layout, printing methods, and footwear design basics.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and organised.
• Able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design sports jerseys, training wear, socks, and related team apparel.
• Create colourways, graphics, patterns, logos, names, and numbering layouts.
• Develop design concepts based on team identity, brand direction, and trends.
• Select suitable fabrics and trims for performance, comfort, and durability.
• Design athletic footwear concepts, silhouettes, colourways, detailing.
• Create design mock-ups, technical drawings, and material references.
• Consider performance, comfort, durability, and usability in footwear design.
• Work with production or suppliers to ensure designs are manufacturable.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and operations teams.
• Revise designs based on feedback from management or clients.
• Ensure all designs meet quality standards, timelines, and brand guidelines.
• Keep updated with sportswear and footwear trends.

This role covers jerseys, team apparel, and sports shoes, combining creativity with functionality and production feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

Apparel (Jerseys & Sportswear)

Design sports jerseys, training wear, socks, and related team apparel

Create colourways, graphics, patterns, logos, names, and numbering layouts

Develop design concepts based on team identity, brand direction, and trends

Select suitable fabrics and trims for performance, comfort, and durability

Footwear (Sports Shoes)

Design athletic footwear concepts for sports and training use

Develop shoe silhouettes, outsole concepts, colourways, and detailing

Create design mock-ups, technical drawings, and material references

Consider performance, comfort, durability, and usability in footwear design

Work with production or suppliers to ensure designs are manufacturable

General Responsibilities
