Job summary

A leading technology company in Malaysia is seeking a Costing Manager who will be responsible for leading the product costing function and ensuring compliance with company profitability objectives. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and leadership capabilities are essential for this role, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and maintain pricing governance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in costing, pricing, or financial analysis, preferably in distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the product costing team to achieve operational excellence and deliver accurate costing data.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce standardized costing processes, procedures, and pricing governance across all product lines.
  • Ensure all costing activities are accurate, timely, and aligned with the company’s profitability and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to develop, review, and optimize product cost structures.
  • Prepare and present weekly inventory reports to management.
  • Monitor daily product billing prices to ensure compliance with approved pricing policies.
