Qualifications

• Degree holder with 2 to 3 years’ experience in the life insurance/ Takaful product development and/or pricing area
• Well verse with relevant industry guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication skills
• Analytical thinking
• Experience in product launches and product development

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of new products/product enhancements that are customer centric and competitive to give Manulife the winning edge to grow the business with focus on protection, health, digital and other product initiatives
• Preparation of product materials and ensure accuracy and compliance to applicable guidelines
• To conduct Product Risk Assessment and compliance checklist for new product launches and ensure that key product risks are recorded with actions for mitigation
• Prepare product test plans and execute UAT in accordance to the approved test plan for new/enhance products and obtain signoff for the relevant documents and materials as per timeline
• Support development timeline, ensuring that internal and external partners know and adhere to timelines
• To perform regular (monthly or other frequency agreed upon) competitor product scan and review process to be log under competitor product library.
• Provide support distribution / other stakeholders in product related matters
• Be aware of the development in the industry and provide analysis of key findings
• Preparation and presentation of new product business case for Product Committee’s approval
• Prepare product training slides
