A leading wellness company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Procurement Officer to assist with procurement activities, inventory management, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma and have at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay is necessary for effective communication. This role offers a dynamic working environment and the opportunity to engage with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in the daily procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and price negotiation with suppliers.
Support the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems.
Assist in the allocation of inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
Monitor inventory levels and help coordinate the replenishment of stock as needed.
Organize logistics arrangements for the delivery of goods, ensuring efficient transportation and timely arrival.
Work with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination between procurement, warehouse, and logistics operations.
Monitor and control the progress of orders, ensuring delivery dates are met, and goods are received according to the agreed terms and conditions.
Maintain close communication with suppliers to track and update the status of orders and shipments.
Update, review and verify purchase invoices for accuracy.
Assist in sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that they meet company requirements and standards.
Assist with any ad-hoc procurement or logistics tasks as assigned, supporting various business operations as needed.
The candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any field, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in the related field.
Preferably, candidates should specialize in Purchasing, Inventory, Material & Warehouse Management, or equivalent fields, with logistics knowledge/experience.
Required languages: Mandarin, English, and Malay (both spoken and written) due to business communication, documentation, operations, and reporting needs.
Procurement Officer or Procurement Executive, depending on the candidate's work experience and job knowledge.
