Our client is one of the leading companies when it comes to the manufacturing industry. Due to expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join their growing company. This role will be based in Selangor.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Planning
  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and cost-saving targets.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and maintain yearly or quarterly procurement plans and coordinate with other departments for demand planning.
Supplier Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; conduct supplier performance reviews.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable agreements.
Procurement Operations
  • Oversee the full procurement lifecycle: RFQ, RFP, PO issuance, contract management.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods/services and follow-up coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with operations to optimize stock levels.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor management skills.
  • Analytical with experience in cost analysis and procurement metrics.
  • Familiarity with ERP and e-procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
