A leading global manufacturing firm in Malaysia is looking for a Procurement Specialist to oversee materials sourcing and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain, strong communication skills, and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP. This role requires collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to ensure production readiness and optimize inventory levels.

Qualifications

• At least 5–10 years in procurement, supply chain, or a similar field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and procurement processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and procure materials to meet manufacturing needs.
• Review CTB requirements and procure materials.
• Ensure materials are available for production while maintaining inventory levels.
• Analyze key factors impacting production for the assigned project.
• Communicate with suppliers to address material shortages.
