Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Procurement Intelligence Analyst within the Cost Modeling & Analytics team. The role focuses on integrating cost analysis, market dynamics and business data to deliver decision-ready procurement intelligence.

You will develop AI-enabled tools to generate predictive analytics and should-cost models to guide cost negotiation and optimization. The position requires a strong background in data science/engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience, and skills in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Data Science or equivalent.
• 4+ years in Costing, Procurement, BI, Data science or related field.
• Strong understanding of supply-market dynamics and cost structures.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and data analytics tools.
• Experience with CAD software is a plus.

Job description

Procurement Intelligence Analyst is part of Cost Modeling & Analytics team, under Agilent One Procurement Organization. The primary function is to develop and deploy multi-domain integrated analytics, delivering decision-grade intelligence to support strategic cost management.

Responsibilities

• Integrate cost analysis, market dynamics and business data to generate integrated procurement intelligence.
• Develop and deploy analytical/AI-enabled tools to deliver predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Develop should-cost models and deploy cost analysis to set benchmark, identify gaps/opportunities and propose solutions to drive cost negotiation & cost optimization.
• Conduct comprehensive supply-market data research to provide market intelligence & business insights to support Procurement strategies.
• Harness supply-market intelligence and cost data to run analytics on price trend & cost impact, generating actionable insights for proactive actions/forward-looking strategic planning.
• Integrate internal & external data to enable strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or above in Engineering, Data Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following fields - Costing Engineer, Procurement Engineer, Supply-market / Business Intelligence Analyst, Data scientist / Analyst.
• Good understanding on the supply-market dynamics and cost profile / structure.
• Statistical knowledge and Data analytics skills.
• AI & Digitalization tools skillset (Python, Co-pilot advanced, AWS platform, SQL).
• Technical background/expertise in manufacturing process & technology.
• Effective MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience in CAD software us a plus.
