A Procurement Executive supports the company’s operations by sourcing and purchasing products or materials needed for daily and project requirements. A successful Procurement Executive will be proficient in purchasing, supply, and inventory management. The ideal candidate requires strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with different departments, managers, and vendors.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Sourcing, evaluating, and selecting vendors to enhance profitability, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Maintaining good working relationships with vendors and monitor their performance.
  • Reviewing purchasing agreements and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Assisting in vendor selection and tendering processes.
  • Analyzing purchasing data (monthly, quarterly, and annually) to determine procurement needs and manage inventory.
  • Managing purchase orders, track delivery schedules, and maintain accurate purchase records.
  • Working with warehouse staff to verify deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Conducting regular market research to identify competitive suppliers and beneficial purchase agreements.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Possess a Diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field, or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement or purchasing.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Office.
  • Responsible, attentive to details, and eager to learn and grow within the role.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • The role is based in KL, with occasional travel (around 25%) to plantation sites in Lojing for coordination and stock monitoring.
