The Opportunity

We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Procurement Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of working across multiple industries and markets. This role offers rare exposure to Singapore–Malaysia cross-border operations, vendor management, and strategic procurement projects.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the Group receives the right materials, from the right vendors, at the right cost — on time and in full compliance.

This is an operational, business-critical role. When materials arrive late, operations stop. We need someone with strong integrity, exceptional organization skills, and absolute reliability — including responsiveness beyond office hours when urgent needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations:

  • Process purchase orders in Navision (Microsoft Business Central) — from requisition to delivery confirmation include sourcing, etc
  • Coordinate with Singapore office — mid-day and end-of-day check-ins on critical POs, urgent requests, delivery status
  • Track all workflows in Wrike and Kissflow — every PO, negotiation, shipment visible in real-time including service request (OTC & Adv)
  • Respond to urgent requests — business units rely on you for same-day procurement when critical needs arise
  • Source new suppliers — identify and evaluate vendors across Malaysia, Singapore, and international markets
  • Negotiate everything — pricing, payment terms (30/60/90 days), delivery schedules, minimum order quantities
  • Build supplier relationships — not transactional; you develop partnerships that benefit both parties
  • Monitor performance — track on-time delivery rates, quality issues, pricing trends, responsiveness
  • Resolve problems proactively — address delays, quality complaints, pricing disputes before they impact operations
  • Quarterly vendor reviews — present performance data, renegotiate terms, consolidate or replace underperforming suppliers

Strategic & Analytical Work:

  • Analyze spend patterns — identify cost-saving opportunities across categories and vendors
  • Build procurement dashboards — track spend by category, vendor performance metrics, cost savings achieved
  • Implement process improvements — streamline approval workflows, automate repetitive tasks, reduce procurement cycle time
  • Present recommendations — monthly reports to management on cost savings, vendor issues, process enhancements
  • Lead cross-functional projects — vendor consolidation initiatives, new supplier onboarding, system improvements
What You’ll Need

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

3–5 years in procurement (operational environments: construction, multi-site operations, project-based procurement)

Experience in import/export operations and cross-border sourcing, customs documentation, HS codes (Singapore-Malaysia corridor experience valued)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems - Navision/Microsoft Business Central preferred (SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems acceptable)

Familiar with Project Management Tools such as Wrike, Trello or similar (daily status updates, task planning, progress tracking)

Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin

Strong negotiation (balance cost savings with vendor relationships), organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to read and interpret Bills of Quantities (BoQ) is an added advantage.

This role is for you if:
  • You stay calm under pressure and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • You are proactive and communicate clearly with internal teams and suppliers.
  • You value integrity, reliability, and accountability in every transaction.
  • You enjoy improving systems and streamlining processes for better results.
What We Offer
  • Multi-industry exposure across diverse business sectors.
  • Career growth opportunities to Senior Procurement Executive.
  • Cross-border operations experience between Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Competitive salary, annual leave, medical coverage, and travel opportunities.
  • A collaborative, fast-paced environment where your ideas are valued.
