Responsibilities
- Identify and develop competitive local suppliers to support direct material localization for Chery’s assembly plant.
 - Manage RFQ processes, price negotiation, and supplier nomination to meet project cost and delivery targets.
 - Conduct cost structure analysis and market benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and cost savings.
 - Monitor pricing accuracy through periodic reviews based on forex, commodity trends, and market changes.
 - Act as the main liaison between suppliers and internal departments to align on technical and quality requirements.
 - Lead cost-saving initiatives such as value engineering, local substitution, and process optimization.
 - Perform supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure stable supply continuity.
 - Maintain accurate procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier records for audit and compliance.
 
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
 - At least 3 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
 - Strong skills in cost analysis, supplier negotiation, and localization.
 - Proficient in SAP and Excel, familiar with contract and supplier management.
 - Good understanding of pricing strategies, forex, and commodity trends.
 - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
