Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop competitive local suppliers to support direct material localization for Chery’s assembly plant.
  • Manage RFQ processes, price negotiation, and supplier nomination to meet project cost and delivery targets.
  • Conduct cost structure analysis and market benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and cost savings.
  • Monitor pricing accuracy through periodic reviews based on forex, commodity trends, and market changes.
  • Act as the main liaison between suppliers and internal departments to align on technical and quality requirements.
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives such as value engineering, local substitution, and process optimization.
  • Perform supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure stable supply continuity.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier records for audit and compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
