The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating materials and services while communicating with Mandarin-speaking suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, especially Mandarin-speaking vendors.

Issue purchase orders and follow up on order status to ensure timely delivery.

Compare quotations and ensure purchases meet quality, cost, and specification requirements.

Coordinate with internal departments on procurement needs and timelines.

Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.

Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.

Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.

1–2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing role.

Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with suppliers.

Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
