Job summary

Perodua Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Cost Estimation Engineer to study and perform cost estimation for new model development parts. You will verify and negotiate with vendors on cost estimates and prepare proposals for vendor selection and progress reports.

You will monitor and control part development activities (SPTT, LPVV, Pilot Pro) for new model development. The role requires an engineering degree, strong analytical thinking, and excellent communication and report writing

Qualifications

• Degree in any related Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Industrial and etc)
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Possess strong analytical thinking and problem solving, communication skills and report writing
• Good negotiation skills, Supply Chains Management.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware and software

Responsibilities

• Study and perform cost estimation for new model development parts.
• Verify and negotiate with vendors on cost estimation.
• Prepare proposal for vendor selection and related progress report.
