Job Title : Procurement Engineer
Salary Range：RM3000 - RM5000

Job Responsibilities

1. Participate in sourcing raw materials for new product development and technical improvement needs.
2. Conduct market research on raw material prices, gather relevant industry or company data, and provide cost opinions and suggestions for procurement and R&D quotations based on research results.
3. Participate in project cost evaluation and calculation, identify cost risk points, and propose cost control measures.
4. Audit cost budgets for R&D projects and provide timely corrections when necessary.
5. Optimize supply channels for existing raw material procurement categories.
6. Participate in and execute supplier development, sourcing, evaluation, and annual review processes.
7. Enhance the companys procurement cost accounting and management methods, assist in drafting and revising related documents such as cost management procedures and implementation details, and ensure their execution by relevant departments.
8. Prepare cost analysis reports for procurement items, components, and BOMs, and propose cost reduction (cost-down) targets and plans based on analysis results.
9. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma, Bachelor's degree or above in electronics, mechanical engineering, automation, or related fields; majors in supply chain management are preferred.
2. Proficient in Mandarin and English listening, speaking, writing and application skills.
3. Ability to read technical drawings, basic knowledge of quality management, and experience in SQE management is a plus.
4. Extensive channel resources and good relationships with original manufacturers.
5. Strong ability to assess material price trends and develop material resources.
6. Familiarity with basic processes and models in production management, cost management, quality management, procurement management, and logistics management.
7. Strong communication, negotiation skills, and strategic awareness of procurement, cost, and efficiency.
8. High sense of responsibility, excellent professional ethics, keen market insight, and quick responsiveness to market changes.
