Job summary

Experian is seeking a Digital Procurement Data Scientist to transform complex data into actionable insights and predictive models that improve procurement outcomes. You will partner with stakeholders across five regions and report to the Procurement Technology & Innovation Lead.

The role emphasizes data analytics, dashboard development with Tableau/Power BI, and automation to optimize costs, manage risk, and drive data-driven decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, information technology, or related field.
• Experience in data analysis, visualization, dashboard development, and process automation.
• Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI and Excel; familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, or Oracle OBIEE.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in data governance, data management, or data warehousing; knowledge of Python is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve procurement outcomes through data analytics, predictive modelling, and automation.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to support data-driven decision-making across five regions.
• Automate processes, reports, and workflows using Excel, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams on data integration, governance, troubleshooting, and user training.
