Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive, Procurement & Cost Optimisation to support our procurement operations and contribute to cost‑saving initiatives. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, maintaining procurement records, and providing administrative support to the procurement team.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders and requisitions 📝

  • Create and manage purchase orders in the procurement system
  • Verify item specifications, prices, quantities, and vendors before submission

Support sourcing activities by gathering and comparing supplier quotations 💰

  • Contact suppliers to request quotations based on product requirements
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities or alternative suppliers

Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases 📂

  • Organize and manage digital procurement files
  • Ensure contracts, price lists, and terms are properly filed and easily retrievable

Coordinate with suppliers on delivery status 🚚

  • Follow up with suppliers on order status and estimated delivery dates
  • Track deliveries to ensure goods arrive on time and in good condition

Provide administrative support to the procurement team 🏢

  • Assist with meeting scheduling and report preparation
  • Support office supplies inventory and small internal purchasing tasks
  • Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned

Handle GAC ordering (Spare Parts & Components) 🔧

  • Manage and liaise with China for spare parts ordering, including CKD and CBU vehicle components
Qualifications and Education

Possess a recognized Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Purchasing Logistics or Operations.

Experience
  • 1–3 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply)
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain) and external vendors
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
