A procurement company in Penang is seeking an experienced procurement specialist to manage supplier relationships and contracts. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and has 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in industrial electronics. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment are essential. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Mandarin or Malay is a plus.
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts and terms including MOQ, SPQ, PPV, and EOL clauses.
Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to align procurement with project requirements.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management (industrial electronics experience preferred).
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Knowledge of procurement terms (MOQ, SPQ, PPV, EOL) and ERP systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in English; Mandarin/Malay is an advantage for supplier communication.
