A leading automotive parts manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Assistant Manager to manage strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations. The role involves ensuring timely procurement of materials for production and requires at least 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in manufacturing. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential for effective communication with suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing or international sourcing.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement of raw materials, components, equipment, and supplies to support production.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery in compliance with specifications.
