Job summary

STMicroelectronics Malaysia is seeking a diploma-qualified Technician to support process/machine setup, data collection, maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting in a cleanroom environment at our Johor facility. You will work as part of an integrated team to maximize tool availability and process yield while adhering to 5S, safety protocols, and installation support as needed.

The ideal candidate is proactive with strong English communication, logical thinking, and the ability to handle

Qualifications

Diploma holder in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronic or its related field.
Proactive with good communication skills in English.
Good logical thinking, analytical trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Good interpersonal skill, people oriented, and able to work independently

Responsibilities

To support engineer on process/machine setup for engineering lot.
To support engineer on the data collection.
To carry out predictive and preventive maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot equipment failures.
Maintain tool uptime to target uptime.
Ensure the compliance to 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocol.
Support the Tools installation as being required.
Assist Engineer in equipment troubleshooting & projects in any area of overall equipment efficiency (OEE) improvements.
Work as a team member of an integrated team to maximize tool availability and process yield.
